At 2 Out of Three designing websites is our specialty. We enjoy taking on every aspect of a project because it means we’ll have the ability to translate our creative vision from the early stages of wireframes all the way through to the last line of code. We’re extremely proud of our latest work for the niche travel experts Best of Both, where our vision extended not only to the imagery present while browsing, but also to the tools that the team at Best of Both will implement for updates.
The Best of Both website allows visitors to find a trip that matches their interests based on dynamic visual cues. Vivid photography filled with images of powder skiing or historic golf courses captures the possibility for an epic travel experience. Trips can be browsed by specific criteria. Elements such as destination, activity, or date help each visitor to locate the best trip for their individual needs.
To get all this up and running we pushed pixels, wrangled code, and hacked a handful of scripts. We built it all on a set of simple tools which allow the team at Best of Both to maintain almost every aspect of the site with no technical knowledge, because without regularly updated content a website quickly becomes stale. This allows the team to add new destinations, keep fans updated on current trips, and promote last minute deals. A few of the system’s details can be found in our portfolio section, however, if web standards and Internet buzz words bore you, skip it and take a look the final product. We’d love to hear what you think, maybe you’ll even book you’re next vacation with Best of Both?
